Pilates for Young Dancers
This specialist term-time class is for young dancers in training aged 12‑18 looking to improve their dance technique, strength and flexibility. These weekly classes will combine Pilates Matwork, with the use of light equipment, barre-work and some use of the Reformers too. Regular attendance will not only address any weaknesses in their technique but will also help educate them in joint stability, muscle balance and movement control leading to a significantly reduced risk of injury.
Classes are limited to no more than 10 students so that the teacher can ensure everyone is working safely and correctly. Please see our timetable for day/time of the class and give studio owner Nikki a call if you or your child have any questions or would like to enrol.
